Flowers have long red-purple sepals and violet corollas, blooming June till frost. Bold rounded foliage on a low growing plant, to 2' high, 3' wide. Partial shade, rich, moist soil. Slightly more tender than the small flowered fuchsias, but hardy enough to winter over in the Northwest.
