Also known as 'Pokey's Pink'. Selected form of a deciduous Pacific Northwest native shrub with maple-like leaves. In mid-spring, prolific, soft pink flowers open from rose pink buds on upright branches. These flowers then develop into edible gray-blue berries. Upright habit, growing unpruned to 8'-12'. One of our finest native shrubs for the garden. Hummingbirds love the flowers. Hardy to Zone 5
