A small sized shade tree, this very ornamental hornbeam has wavy narrow leaves. Not bothered by pests or disease, this tree will rapidly form a rounded crown, to 10' in ten years, eventually to 25'. In summer and autumn, the tree is decorated by hop-like seed clusters.
