Plum Trees
Easy to grow and tolerant of most soils. Most varieties of plum trees need a pollinizer. Because Japanese plum trees bloom several weeks earlier than European plum trees, only Japanese varieties will pollinize Japanese varieties, and only European varieties will pollinize European varieties. Methley is self-fertile, but will pollinize Japanese types of plum trees.
Plum trees are only shipped while dormant, from February through early April. They are available for pickup from February through late November.
