Grows to be a small tree 9' to 12' in height. Striking, large, dark, glossy green compound leaves, turning shades of orange and red in fall. Fruit is sweet and dark purple, 1/2" in diameter. Intense flavor makes it superb for jams, wine or cooking. Cross between Mountain Ash and Choke Cherry.
