Ripens early September. Large smooth pear with sweet mild flavor. Excellent for canning and drying as well as fresh eating. Tree is vigorous and bears heavily. Originated on Orcas Island as a seedling. Mid-season bloom. Check for pollinizers

  • Fruit trees are available for shipping February through mid-April. They are available for pickup at the nursery February through November.
  • All varieties need a pollinizer
  • Pears tolerate heavy soil
  • Space 8’-10’ on Pyrodwarf or Provence Quince Rootstock
  • Space 15' on OHF333 Rootstock
  • Harvest green, when stem separates easily from the spur.
  • Hardy to Zone 4 on Pyrodwarf and OHF-333
  • Hardy to Zone 5 on Provence Quince
