Our Goal
Our goal is for you to succeed in your orchard. The most difficult part of orchard management is getting the timing right. We know you are busy, so let us do that part for you. We will guide you through the growing season by sending you timely reminders, with photos, text and linked to videos, of how to successfully accomplish each task.
Our focus will be on sustainable, organic orchard management, but we will also at times discuss conventional materials and methods when they are a good alternative.
How it Works
- You will receive e-newsletters at least once a month
in a tutorial format, outlining and describing what
needs to be done.
- We will include detailed management for Apples,Pears, Peaches, Nectarines, Cherries, Plums,Apricots, Quince and Figs.
- We will give you ample time to do time critical tasks to manage diseases and insects. We use the many agricultural weather Internet sites to target
timing of tasks to your zip code.
We will Include
- Practical information suitable for beginning fruit
growers as well as those with experience
- Information evaluating new varieties
- Integrated pest management and organic
management strategies
- Discounts on selected materials such as training supplies, fertilizers and pest management materials
We will Answer Questions

How do I prune young trees versus older trees?
- How much should I irrigate? What if I do not have
irrigation?
- How do I control weeds in my orchard?
- How do I monitor for pests and diseases?
- What do I spray? When do I spray for my region and
weather? Pest management is timed to region
and weather!
- How can I tell if the blossoms set? When and how
much do I thin?

winter?
